How we can help

  • Assess the appropriate residence category and lawful entry or filing basis.
  • Prepare a category-specific evidence and family-member checklist.
  • Support the agreed application and authority correspondence.
  • Review renewal dates, continuing eligibility and travel-document questions.

The precise work, responsibilities and fees are agreed before the engagement begins. Not every task is required in every case; government decisions and processing times cannot be guaranteed.

Prepare for the first conversation

  • Nationality and current lawful residence.
  • Work, income and family circumstances.
  • Any visa/card expiry, refusal or planned travel.

Use the contact form for an outline only. Do not upload identity, financial or sensitive case records in an initial enquiry. The firm will discuss an appropriate way to share documents if the matter proceeds.

Important distinctions

Choose a Greek residence category around your actual purpose of stay and work plans. A visa permits entry or a defined stay; a residence permit and an application receipt are different documents. Property ownership or an AFM number alone is not residence permission.

Read the sourced residence permits guide and detailed articles.

Financially independent residence

FIP is the financially independent person route for non-EU nationals with sufficient independent resources. It is not a work permit or a property-investment programme. Article 163(8) of Law 5038/2023 provides a three-year residence permit, renewable for an equivalent period if the conditions continue to be met. A national entry visa and a residence card are different documents. Greek Migration Code, Law 5038/2023 (Articles 68, 100 and 163).

Consultation, fees and next steps

The initial discovery call identifies the issue and whether the firm can assist; it is not a full document review or an approval decision. A requested time is not booked until confirmed. Any further legal work requires an agreed scope and fee, with public fees, translations and other third-party costs identified separately.

Some tasks can be carried out under a suitable power of attorney. Required interviews, biometrics and other personal formalities still depend on the procedure. Tell us about imminent deadlines at the outset; submitting the form does not extend them.
